ClearCoin is a platform launched on ERC20 blockchain standard. It is a global advertising exchange technology that connects advertisers and publishers and tracks all transactions in a proof-of-history ledger. The proof-of-history ledger is built on blockchain and helps combat ad fraud and inaccuracies.

The ClearCoin is used to transact on the platform and can be used to support other members of the ecosystem like advertisers and publishers. It is aimed to solve the double spending advertising problem by keeping a publicly scannable ledger of transactions. Through blockchain technology they will help advertising industry by delivering to publishers the scannable ledger of advertising inventory.

The global advertising exchange will serve up key ad formats like Display, Mobile, Video, Native, Social, Audio, Television, Content and Search. The technology will support other companies in the ecosystem such as: Marketers, Brands, Agencies, Ad Networks, Publishers, Publishers Networks, Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms and Data Providers.

ICO release of 1 billion tokens with nominal value of 1 CLR = 0.01 $ and the price will increase every 3, the final total capitalization will be known at the end of token sale.

There are 5 advisors, most of them are advertising experts and crypto currency investors.

According to linkedin, the team members have a lot of successful professional activities over the last years, but it looks a little bit artificial.

The only member that is high-rated is David Garrity, the Chief Strategy Officer, that has couple of interviews at Yahoo Finance, presenting there the ClearCoin ICO.

The advertising industry is very competitive and there are a lot of companies on blockchain technology that are on the market already (Basic Attention Token, Content and AD Network, AdHive, etc). It wasn’t noticed any competitive advantage of the company other competitors within the industry. As a company specializing in advertising, it has a low promotion on internet, which raises some types of concerns, wheatear the team lacks expertize in this field.

The general market sentiment about ClearCoin is quite negative, it was noticed that this ICO has a lot of negative ratings on different sites and doesn’t have a lot of reviewers. Feels a little bit scammy.
